“The Beauty of Buzzard Point” Collaboration with Kaliq Crosby

In 2020, I had the honor of creating a mural with my friend and fellow artist Kaliq Crosby via a commission from Capitol Riverfront BID. The mural tells a story of DC history while looking forward and imagining what our city can look like in the future. We featured DC icons from Frederick Douglass to Eleanor Holmes Norton, while incorporating lesser-known figures in Southwest DC’s rich history to play a part in telling their stories.

Many community members lent a hand in bringing this mural to life - a true community effort designed to inspire DC Natives and newcomers alike for years to come!
